The stirring musical dramatization of the story of Helen Keller. Blind and mute, nobody knows what Helen's fate might have been had she not come under the tutelage of Annie Sullivan, an Irish girl who was visually impaired. Little Helen, trapped in her secret world, is bitter, violent, spoiled and almost animal like. Only Annie realizes there is a mind and spirit waiting to be res-cued from that dark, tortured silence. Her success finally comes with the utterance of a single, glorious word, "water". A beautiful story of hope, love and faith.
